WZW Optic is a Swiss manufacturer of high-precision optics and opto-mechanical assemblies. The company started its history 1965 and has now a competent staff of over 60 persons. Almost 90% of the optics they manufacture are being produced to customer’s specifications, the rest are standard solutions.

With specialised production methods, WZW can manufacture optics ranging in size from 0.5 to 450 mm. WZW can achive surface accuracy down to lambda/40 with QED’s magneto-rheological finishing machine. For many years WZW has been making long-term investments in quality control and quality assurance, which is key to the continuing success of the company and customers. Interferometers routinley used included Zygo-new view, Fisba and Kugler. The production, test facilities and management processes are ISO9001:2008 certified.
