Optonyx can offer filters designed to perform many of the key spectral control functions common to most laser & optical systems. MaxLine laser line filters and MaxDiode laser cleanup filters eliminate unwanted laser modes and spontaneous emission from the most common laser sources when spectral purity is critical. StopLine notch filters filters eliminate only the laser light in applications where the laser light is undesirable. LaserMux laser combining filters allow multiple laser beams to be combined together and split apart with minimal distortion in multi-wavelength applications.
Adding to the above, we have has a wide range of BrightLine interference filters for different applications, with performance which rarely can be met by others. They can be divided in tunable filters, bandpass filters, edge filters, notch filters, 45° dichroic beamsplitters, polarization filters and mirrors.
Tunable VersaChrome filters are ideal for applications ranging from fluorescence imaging and measurements to hyperspectral imaging and high-throughput spectroscopy. And with high optical quality and damage threshold, they are well-suited for a wide range of laser applications as well. Tunable filters are truly unique.
Many applications require a BrightLine bandpass filter, and we have a large selection available. They can be found as single-band and multiband, and they are designed for a large number of different laser wavelengths, fluorophores and other requirements.
Edge-filters can be found in different grades determined by the transition width – RazorEdge, EdgeBasic and BrightLine, and in both long-pass and short-pass versions.
Single-notch StopLine filters are available in three grades determined by passband range, laser-line blocking level, and notch bandwidth, and can be found for a large number of laser wavelengths. Multi-notch filters are also available.
BrightlIne dichroic beamsplitters can be provided for general light sources, for splitting imaging beams, for reflected laser lines and for combining or separating multiple laser beams.
The Polarizing Bandpass filter from Semrock is another unique invention. This is a highly efficient polarizer and bandpass filter in a single optical component. They are superb linear polarizers with a contrast ratio exceeding 1,000,000-to-1. In addition, with high-performance bandpass characteristics, they make an excellent laser source clean-up filter as well as detection filters to pass a laser wavelength range and block background noise.
